Job Summary:

As an internal sales associate, you will generate and develop retail sales, brand awareness, key retailer relationships, and overall territory profitability via education, strategic communication, and event execution within assigned retail accounts.
Internal Sales Associate Functions:
• Achieve and exceed retail sales plan within identified region
• Identify top line stores and leverage resources to maximize sales using the 80/20 rule
• Develop, maintain, and manage key relationships with each door that will further support brand awareness, education initiatives and sales achievement
• Establish priority call cycle that drives sales, education, and brand awareness across all channels
• Establish consistent and open communication with all levels of store management
• Communicate with accounts and internal teams regarding specific account issues
• Conduct monthly/quarterly business review with stakeholders to maximize sell thru, store specific education needs, and event opportunities
• Plan, coordinate and execute strategic store events to further support retail sails achievement and brand awareness within the marketplace
• Communicate successes and opportunities both internally and externally
• Utilize and maximize all allocated marketing resources and promotional programs to support your efforts and drive retail sales

Basic Requirements:

• Relevant experience and education in a holistic health or natural beauty retail environment
• Knowledge of the US holistic health or natural beauty products markets
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Proficiency with Webinar technology and QuickBooks desirable
• Persistence in developing relationships with new and existing customers over the phone, by email, and in person
• Motivated to make outbound calls to new client prospects and to present new products
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and well balanced interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management, prioritization and organizational skills including follow through and attention to detail
• Capacity to work independently both in the office and if travel is required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
