Composition at a glance: A little more than four-fifths of mono-unsaturated fatty acids (Omega 9). Just less than a tenth of polyunsaturated fatty acids (Omega 6). Vitamin E and antioxidant phytosterols.
Color and texture: Very pale yellow oil. Light yellow oil. Absorbs well.
Smell: Discreet and neutral, hint of hazelnut.
Note: People allergic to nuts will most likely be allergic to the oil as well.
Absorbs well and leaves the skin satin smooth, Hazelnut oil is an excellent base as a toning treatment for dull or problem skin. It is beneficial for oily, dehydrated or combination skin types due to its purifying and moisturizing properties.
Extremely rich in Omega 9, Hazelnut oil is a great massage oil, alone or in combination with essential oils. When used for massaging, it warms the body and activates any essential oil combination well and quickly.
