About: Cinnamon Bark essential oil has a warm, spicy-sweet scent. Historically, Cinnamon Bark was used as purifying incense in religious worship throughout Africa, Asia and Europe and was one of the earliest transcontinental exports. Cinnamon was also used in teas, herbal oils, compresses and baths for a wide variety of traditional herbal remedies, many of which are still used today. Cinnamon Bark should always be diluted in a carrier oil and is not recommended for pregnant women or for children under 5 years unless lightly diffused.

Common Uses: Cinnamon Bark can be found in cleaning products, air fresheners, reed diffusers, potpourri, food flavoring, cologne, and perfume. Cinnamon Bark essential oil is beautiful lightly diffused with clove and sweet orange for the perfect winter scent to purifying air. When diffusing, only use in very small amounts.

Blending Reccomendations: Basil ct linalol, Bay Leaf Laurel, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Black Spruce, Cardamom, Atlas Cedarwood, Cinnamon Leaf, Cistus, Clove Bud, Coffee, Coriander Seed, Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus radiata, Balsam Fir, Silver Fir ,Frankincense, Ginger, Hyssop Decumbens, Lemon, Lemongrass, May Chang, Myrrh, Nutmeg, Sweet Orange, Oregano, Patchouli, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Scotch Pine, Spanish Sage, Sandalwood, Spikenard, Tea Tree, Thyme, Tulsi, Vetiver, Wintergreen.

Safety Information: Do not use while pregnant, breastfeeding or with children under 5 years old.

Cinnamon Bark and Cinnamon Leaf essential oils are distinct and are not interchangeable.

Shelf Life: 2 years in proper conditions.

Storage: Store with the cap firmly closed, standing upright, out of direct heat and sunlight. Always use a glass bottle as Cinnamon Bark essential oil will slowly dissolve plastics.
